In most cases, you will receive your invoice prior to your pet's stay. This will be sent to your email (can be switched to text messages upon request) and shows the cost breakdown of your pet's stay. A $50 deposit is required to confirm your booking, otherwise availability cannot be guaranteed. This deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is given at least 2 days prior to the arrival date. (Ex. You scheduled drop off for Friday. If you cancel on or before Tuesday of that same week, your deposit will be refunded. However if you were to cancel on Wednesday or later, your deposit would be forfeited.) You can pay right on your phone via credit or debit card, ACH bank transfer, or Cash App Pay. Deposit will be due upon receipt of the invoice, and the remaining balance will be due the day BEFORE arrival.
PAYMENT
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
If your pet is potentially experiencing some kind of medical emergency, I will secure them in the car and transport them to the nearest veterinary hospital immediately. I will contact you via phone call while I am en route. If your pet has any medical concerns that are not an emergency, I will contact you first to touch base and decide on the best course of action. Pet owners are expected to provide payment for whatever care is necessary or decided upon at the time of said care, which can be done by calling the clinic where they are receiving treatment. If you are unable to place phone calls or I have not been able to reach you, I will then get in touch with your chosen emergency contact to consult with them and arrange payment.
FEEDINGS
Cats and dogs are fed twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. An afternoon meal can be served upon request, and feeding times may vary slightly depending on my schedule. All pets are fed in their individual crate or pen and meals consisting of dry food will be soaked in warm water prior to serving in order to aid digestion and increase hydration. Pets are left in their crates to rest for at least 45 minutes before being released to play and explore again. Free feeding is NOT available.
MEDICATIONS
Medications must be brought in their original container and are administered according to the label's instruction. Pills and tablets can be given in a pill pocket or other tasty treat, or administered directly by hand - whatever way you normally do it. If your pet is in need of any injections, please allow time when you are planning to drop off to review where on the body will they need to receive their injection(s).
KEEPING IN TOUCH
Please feel free to check in as little or as much as you are comfortable with over the course of your pet's stay. Email is the best way to contact me. I may not be able to respond right away depending on what I am doing, but I will try to reply as soon as I am available during my operating hours.
